On Friday August 14th, 2015 Westport Police Officers responded to a complaint at a local residence where it was reported that an employee for a contractor had allegedly shown a juvenile a pornographic video on his cell phone. During the course of the investigation it was learned that the employee had entered a room where both children were playing and had shown the child the pornographic video. The children (ages 8 and 6) immediately reported the incident to their mother. Prior to our arrival the contractor who had been notified of the incident by the mother, had called all of his employees together and the suspect was identified. At approximately 12:21 a.m. on August 17, 2015 Bridgeport Hospital reported a gunshot victim. The victim reported that he was shot in the area of William Street and Barnum Avenue. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the face and neck. The victim was later transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital in critical condition.
