4:38pm--#Westport CT--Firefighters on scene at 10 Bluff Road for a house fire. Fire in the walls in the living room extended to adjoining bedrooms. 1:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A motorcyclist was injured when he crashed into a van at the intersection of King Street and Fairfield Avenue. Police tell me that a van inched its way onto Fairfield Avenue and the motorcyclist had to dump his bike to avoid greater injury impacting the van. The bike clipped the van as opposed to a full impact. Police said the motorcyclist was wearing riding equipment including a helmet which further protected him. EMS transported the biker to the hospital.
