1ish--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 1am police responded to a crash at Madison Avenue and North Avenue near Madison Court that caused significant damage. Police found a four car crash with extensive damage. One person was taken to the hospital. One person was taken into custody. Witnesses told me it was extremely loud like an explosion heard a block away on Wallace Street.

A three car crash in the left lane one car on fire. No word on injuries but one amublance was on scene and two additional were requested to the scene. #Bridgeport, Conn. (Jan. 2, 2015) – Two men are in custody today following a possible home invasion in the Mill Hill neighborhood. An incident was reported at 11:19 a.m. Police received information from the victim that he heard a knock at his door and, at the same time, footsteps on the stairs in his Ogden Street Extension home. The suspects were in custody a short time later. The victim stated he opened his door slightly and that one suspect pushed his way into the apartment.
