Bridgeport News: 4 to the Hospital After Fire

#Bridgeport CT--A very impressive display of heroism by both police and firefighters getting everyone to safety after this 2 alarm fire at Bridgeport Gardens Apartments at 223 Washington Avenue this early Sunday morning. Four people were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries from this fire. Police and firefighters worked together to get everyone to safety. We heard on radio traffic that people were jumping from the windows to get to safety. 12:22pm--#Westport CT--#Norwalk CT--The Hudson Valley Bank next to the Panera Bread on Westport Avenue was robbed this afternoon. A white male entered the bank and displayed a gun. He fled on a bicycle with the cash. Westport Officer alon with Norwalk K-9 located the bicycle and cash on Renzuli Drive in Norwalk. A perimeter was set up but the K-9 lost the track. Bridgeport News: 2 More Shot Overnight

#Bridgeport, CT -- -- Detectives are investigating an overnight incident in which two people were shot. At approximately 4:18 a.m., police responded to the rear of 737 E. Main St on a report of a shooting. The shooting occurred at closing time for an after-hours club. As the patrons were exiting the club, an argument ensued and fight broke out. Two people were wounded. Christian Roque, 33, was shot multiple times in the torso and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance. The second individual, Luis Santiago, 23, arrived at Bridgeport Hospital in a car with gunshot wounds.Both individuals were listed in stable condition.The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.Detective James Kirkland is leading the investigation.
