#Fairfield CT--VIDEO REPORT--Fairfield seems to have a higher than normal percentage of calls for dogs in hot cars. I had an opportunity to talk with Chief of Police Gary MacNamara to ask him about this. The chief also had a stern warning for dog owner that if you leave your dog in a hot car you will be arrested and charged with cruelty to animals.
11:32pm--#Fairfield CT--If heading out to McDonald's at 536 Post Road at the traffic circle watch out for the passed out alleged drunk laying in front of the drive thru menu board, its not a new speed bump.
8:20-m--#Fairfield CT--Report of a burning tree at Merritt Street. Firefighters on the way.
6:55pm--#Milford CT--Firefighters on scene reporting a brown out situation on Shell Avenue and Surf Avenue possibly due to the storm.
6:22pm--#Shelton CT--Reports of 476 Howe Avenue was just struck by lightning. This is next door to Subway. Just hearing thunder in Fairfield now.......
6:06pm--#Fairfield CT-- A motorcyclist has been hit by a car on Park Avenue near Wendy Road.
6:01pm--#Stratford CT-- Crash with injuries on Lordship Boulevard near the Shell Station. Road may be blocked by emergency vehicles.
5:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police on the way to the 100 block of Cowles Street for a woman pulling down her pants exposing herself to children. Police have her in custody.
5:00pm--#Westport CT-- The TD Bank at 1111 Post Road East was robbed at gunpoint. The robbers were two black males driving a black Volkswagen hatchback with plate # 213TZV which is a stolen plate. Stratford and Shelton also had similar robberies today from the same two. UPDATE--Westport has one in custody and one still at large. 6:19pm--#UPDATE: Police have recovered the gun and money. One in custody one still at large.
3:13pm--#cttraffic--#Westport CT-- A crash on I-95 northbound in the left shoulder with reported injuries. Nothing major but enough to start a slow start to the commute. Un accidente en la I-95 norte en el hombro izquierdo con lesiones reportadas. Nada importante pero suficiente para comenzar un lento viaje. Um acidente na I-95 norte no acostamento esquerdo com feridos. Nada grave, mas o suficiente para iniciar um trafego lento na volta pra casa.
