5:31pm--#Bridgeport CT--Witnesses called police that a woman crashed her car into a pole in front of Treeland on 1000 Huntington Turnpike. Witnesses say a man then came to the scene, took the woman out of the car and slung her over his shoulder put her in his car and left the scene. Police are investigating.
5:09pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a Hummer parked on Denver Court riddled with bullet holes. It is uncertain if this is related to the drive by shooting on Colorado Avenue last night.

4:15pm--#Shelton CT-- Report of an armed bank robbery which occurred at the Wells Fargo bank at 320 Coram Avenue. The robber, a male wearing all black, has fled on foot. A silver handgun was displayed.

BRIDGEPORT – On Saturday, April 12, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm the CT Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS) will be taking part in “Pucks & Paws,” an event with VCA Animal Hospitals and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Webster Bank Arena. 1:44am--#Bridgeport CT--A hungry student caused an evacuation at the University of Bridgeport tonight at 400 Linden Avenue. Firefighters were led in by security were they found the stove on the fourth floor with burnt plastic which cause the smoke which triggered the alarms.
1:22am--#Bridgeport CT--A stolen car from a car lot on Madison Avenue was spotted in the Hollow section of town traveling at a high rate of speed. Police did not even attempt to give chase but instead called Fairfield that a yellow Mini Cooper was heading towards their town on Park Avenue. It didn't take long for the 17 year old driver's inexperience catch up with him when he rolled the car in front of St. Margaret's Shrine. EMS treated him at the scene and transported him to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment.
12:02am--#Bridgeport CT--A Boutique at 3486 Fairfield Avenue reported to police that they were broken in to, cash taken from their cash register and the place was ransacked. Police are investigating.
