#Norwalk CTOn August 15, 2023, Norwalk Police Detectives from the Special Victims Unit served an arrest warrant on David M Rosenfield for Possession of Child Pornography in the First Degree. The arrest was the culmination of an extensive and detailed investigation into Rosenfield, by investigators from multiple law enforcement agencies. During the investigation, evidence was collected via search and seizure warrants and thoroughly analyzed, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Rosenfield. Rosenfield was arrested at his Norwalk residence and transported to the Norwalk Police Department for processing. Arrested: David M Rosenfield, 68, of Belden Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Lt Thomas Minar Sr Retires After 30 Years At Bridgeport Police

Lt Thomas Minar Sr retired from the BPD effective 8/15/2023 after 30 years of service. While the majority of his career was in patrol he did serve in the Traffic Division where he became a certified accident reconstruction specialist. He also served in dispatch as a supervisor prior to it becoming staffed fully by civilians. As a sergeant, Tom, was awarded a reward for bravery for an incident in Greene Homes where a suspect attempted to shoot both Sgt Minar and his partner. Sgt Minar was able to disarm the suspect without incident. Lt Minar is looking forward to his second career as a rural letter carrier and spending time with his beloved dog, Sully and occasionally with his family!

New York Man Arrested in Westport for Identity Theft and Personal Information Trafficking

On October 4, 2022 Westport Police initiated an investigation after a complainantreported that they had a check fraudulently altered and cashed. The complainant provided thebasic information of the incident, and the case was turned over the Detective Bureau. ThroughLaw Enforcement sharing Westport Detectives were advised that Wilton Police had arrested Mr.Licona in September 2022 for similar financial crimes. At the time of his arrest, a laptop and cellphones were seized. Search warrants were executed on these devices and evidence from ourlarceny case was located on his electronic devices. An arrest warrant was signed and on August3, 2023, Westport Detectives responded to Westchester Correctional Center and arrested Mr.Licona.
