(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today held a news conference in New Britain to announced that he has submitted multi-pronged legislative proposals to the General Assembly that focus on reducing health care costs for Connecticut residents, with a particular emphasis on enhancing competition, eliminating unnecessary charges, reducing rising prices, and increasing affordability for residents and employers. #Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau's Robbery Squad (under the supervision of Sergeant Pasquale Feola) has been actively working in conjunction with the officers assigned to the State Violent Crime Task Force (under the supervision of Connecticut State Police Sergeant John List). Today, February 20, 2023, the second Sergio's Pizza robbery suspect, 50-year-old David L. Dagley, of Bridgeport CT, was taken into custody by members of the State Violent Crime Task Force. His arrest was related to the numerous outstanding Violation of Probation arrest warrants he had from various surrounding agencies. On February 20, 2023 at 6:17 p.m., Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a 911 call of an individual has sustained a gunshot within a residence on Dry Hill Road. Multiple Norwalk Police Officers rushed to the scene, along with paramedics and fire personnel. Upon arrival, officers searched the scene, located a male victim, and secured a handgun. The male was provided emergency medical aid, and rushed to Norwalk Hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. Detectives arrived on the scene and initiated an investigation. At this time the male victim is receiving care for his critical injuries. Investigators are actively working to determine what led up to the shooting incident, and have determined that this is an isolated incident with no threat…

Bridgeport Police said: At 2132hrs the BPT ECC received several calls reporting a domestic violence incident in the 40th block of Monroe Street. On-scene BPT Police Command reports indicated one male party inside the apartment with a child and a female party outside of the apartment trying to gain entry. At approximately 2317hrs the incident was resolved and the child was safe and secured with Bridgeport Police. 2023-02-19@10:00PMish--#Bridgeport CT-- A stand-off that lasted over 2 hours at 45 Monroe Street ended peacefully.
