#Bridgeport CT-- On January 19, 2023, at around 10 pm, the Bridgeport Police Department's Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) executed a search warrant at a residence on Shelton Street as part of a narcotics investigation. With the assistance of the Patrol Division, they detained three adults, Colon, Maldonado, and Nieves, and found packaged crack cocaine and money in plain view. They also found a firearm with no valid CT pistol permit in Nieves' possession. TNT entered the main dwelling and detained an adult female, Rodriguez, and a large dog. #Milford CT--On January 20, 2023, police were dispatched to the Mayflower Motel for an assault. The victim stated that they let Tykuan Kelly, 30 of Bridgeport use their vehicle and he was supposed to bring it back by 10pm. Upon returning to the motel after midnight, they approached Kelly as he exited the vehicle. Kelly grabbed them around the neck and slammed them into the motel wall. He then grabbed them by the neck with two hands and began to strangle them, restricting their breathing. Kelly then slammed them to the ground. Kelly then returned to his motel room. The victim received medical attention at the scene. Kelly was taken into custody by officers and arrested. A $10,000 bond was…

Technical Schools On Lock-In/Out

Frank Recchia of News12 is reporting to us that Frank all Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) schools have been placed in a secure school protocol after a threat. CTECS says they were made aware of the threat, but state police do not believe it is credible. The schools were placed in a secure protocol out of an abundance of caution. The secure protocol means that all exterior doors are locked, and no outside visitors will be permitted to access the building. There is no word on what the actual threat entailed.

#Ansonia CT--On January 17, 2023 at about 10:15 P.M., Ansonia Police officers patrolling Pershing Drive were flagged down by a female who reported a male hid in the backseat of her car then tried to steal her pocketbook. The female was able to fight off the suspect and he fled the scene. The female reported she had stopped at CVS on Pershing Drive, while she was in the store the male hid in the backseat of the car and confronted her as she drove on Pershing Drive. #Bridgeport News: On Wednesday night, January 11, 2023, officers responded to 804 Fairfield Avenue for an assault. When they arrived, they found the victim, 49-year-old Daniel Engeldrum, suffering from a head injury. Endgeldrum, who was homeless, was taken to Saint Vincent’s Hospital, where he died from his injuries two days later, on January 13, 2023. A subsequent autopsy confirmed his death was due to the assault and ruled a homicide. Detective Brian Coyne of the Homicide Unit was assigned the case and was assisted by the other members of the unit. A local man, 32-year-old Elijah Humphrey of 944 Fairfield Avenue, was quickly developed as a suspect, and during questioning, confessed. Humphrey was arrested today and charged with Manslaughter in…
