#Norwalk CT-- 0543hrs. this morning Norwalk Fire responded to a Structure fire at 7 Reynolds St. owned by Norwalk Linen Service CO. The fire was already coming through the roof when companies arrived. Five engines & two truck companies responded with 33 firefighters. It took approximately 1 ½ hours to bring the fire under control. The building is posted unfit for occupancy and is still under investigation . There were no injuries reported.

Bud's heavy duty towing crew was called to free the vehicle. There were no reported injuries. The Department of Transportation was called to check the integrity of the I-95 overpass.

#Norwalk CT-- On Thursday May 20, 2021 at approximately 12:18 PM, the Norwalk Police Department responded toreports of shots fired in the area of 160 Suncrest Road and located a gunshot victim, who was rapidly transported to Norwalk Hospital with life threatening injuries. In the early morning hours of May 21,2021 the victim died as a result of the injuries he sustained. The victim, Timothy Cantey, was a 19 year old resident of South Norwalk. The investigation, now ahomicide investigation, is active and ongoing.
