#Westport, CT--On Saturday November 28, 2020, the Westport PoliceDepartment received a complaint from a business located in theSaugatuck Area in regards to being victimized by an apparent scam. It was reported that an individual had entered the store and had spokenwith a juvenile employee. During the course of his conversation withthat employee, this individual claimed to be working on behalf of theWestport Fire Department, stating that he was required to inspect thefire extinguishers kept on site.
