Fairfield Police Charge Juvenile with Burglary at Elementary School, Assaulting Police Officer

FAIRFIELD — Chief Christopher Lyddy reports that the Fairfield Police Department has charged a juvenile boy after he was found to have caused damage inside a local elementary school and subsequently became combative with officers. The American Red Cross in Connecticut is launching a Virtual Family Assistance Center to support Connecticut families struggling with loss and grief due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
