HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont announced that the State of Connecticut has received its single largest shipment of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the fight to combat COVID-19. The equipment, which came from suppliers in China, has been delivered over the last couple of days to the state’s commodities warehouse. Daniel Baker, age 37, of Bunker Ave., Meriden, was arrested when officers forced his car to a stop to prevent further damage and injury.
