Bridgeport News: Pedestrian Hit-Seriously Injured

There is no police report completed at this time however; what the preliminary report from ECC indicates a pedestrian came into the roadway and a vehicle struck him. The driver stayed on-scene the injuries were non-life threatening. Again all according to the  ECC Report, which is preliminary information. Once PD completes their report I will get it over to you.   2002-05-16@9:04pm--#Bridgeport CT--A pedestrian was hit on Boston Avenue near Central Avenue and appeared to be unconscious and in serious condition.  There did not appear to be any striking vehicle on the scene.

Fairfield News: Water Rescue

8:38pm--UPDATE: The kayaker and kayak have been safely recovered by Fairfield Fire led by Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola.   2020-05-16@8:25pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the way to Penfield Lighthouse for a kayaker who overturned.  He was able to get up to the rocks of the lighthouse and only has 10% battery power on his phone.   This news report is made possible by:
