Former Stratford High Wrestling Coach Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation

Jordan Miron Arrest Warrant Execution On May 12, 2026, a now 20-year-old female reported to the Stratford Police Department that she was the victim of sexual assault when she was a student while attending Stratford High School. A Detective Bureau investigation conducted over the last six days resulted with the arrest today of a former Stratford High School wrestling coach. Jordan Miron, age 36, is charged with Sexual Assault 2nd degree (actor is a coach). He was issued a May 19, 2026 court date and is being held in lieu of a $150,000.00 court set bond. Driver Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash That Killed Pedestrian On November 19, 2025, Patrol Officers responded to the intersection of Van Buren Avenue and Bedford Avenue after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a motor vehicle. Responding officers determined that the pedestrian had been struck by two separate vehicles. The incident was captured on a nearby vehicle’s dashboard camera, which showed the pedestrian crossing Van Buren Avenue in the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop for the red traffic signal while turning left from Bedford Avenue onto Van Buren Avenue. SUSPECT IN SERIOUS DOMESTIC ASSAULT ON BOND STREET TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY U.S. MARSHALS A felon wanted by the Bridgeport Police for seriously assaulting a woman on the East Side last week was captured in the Bronx, New York on Friday morning by United States Marshals. Frank Moreno, 45, had an active Bridgeport warrant for Assault in the Second Degree, Interfering with an Emergency Call and Larceny in the Sixth Degree. Bridgeport Police Warn Residents About Phone Scam The Bridgeport Police Department is warning residents about a phone scam in which the caller asks for money and identifies himself using the names of actual Bridgeport police officers. Potential victims are told they missed jury duty and are required to pay a $7,000 fine. They are given instructions on where to go to send the money. The calls are from fake numbers. The department received multiple complaints in the last week regarding the scam. The suspect has used the name of different officers. There were no cases reported in which anyone sent the money. Norwalk Police Arrest Man on Family Violence Warrant

Norwalk Police Serve Domestic Arrest Warrant On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Norwalk Police Officers arrested Diedrich Hohn, who was wanted on a family violence arrest warrant. Officers also served Search Warrants at Hohn’s residence and his two vehicles. This investigation began on April 25, 2026, after the victim reported ongoing harassment and threats from Hohn. A restraining order was in place prohibiting Hohn from contacting the victim in any manner. During the execution of the Search Warrant at Hohn’s residence, officers located five glass vials containing unquantified amounts of liquid labeled Nandrolone Decanoate. Nandrolone Decanoate, also known as "Deca," is an injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid classified as a Schedule III controlled substance. Officers also located 186 capsules labeled "Winny."
