Bridgeport News: Shots Fired Possible Victim

4:10pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received a number of calls for shots fired at Brooks and Ogden Street.  A number of witnesses said a white Nissan Maxima  with tinted windows drove by and shot at a victim in a black puffy jacket.  Witnesses say they saw stuffing coming out of the jacket as if the victim who was possibly hit.  The victim fled on foot east on Ogden Street.  Police checked with area hospitals but so far no one with a gunshot has been admitted to any of the area hospitals.   This report is made possible by:

#Bridgeport CT-- The McDonalds at 1025 Main Street is closing.  In other news, there was a McDonald's downtown.....The Trefz family who owns the McDonalds since 2003 also owns the Holiday Inn across the street.  It is reported that all the employees at the location accepted positions at other McDonalds.  The Trefz family owns 43 other McDonalds in Connecticut and New York.

DIY Craft and Sewing Sessions at Fairfield Public Library

#Fairfield, CT-- The craft and sewing salons at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, are gaining in popularity as people realize how much fun and relaxing these programs can be. Join us on Saturday, February 6 at 10:00 am to create Hexies in the Craft Salon and continue the fun at 1:00 pm in the Sewing Salon, as we explore making buttonholes and piping.  Hexagon shapes were popular in the 1930’s quilt world and are making a comeback.
