2020-05-31@12:18am–#Bridgeport CT– A gunshot victim arrived at Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle. Moments earlier there was a shot spotter activation at PT Barnum Housing. Police and detectives are investigating.
Police UPDATE: A 16-year-old male victim was shot multiple times this afternoon at 121 Cottage Street. He was transported to St. Vincent’s medical center for treatment and underwent surgery. The victim remains in serious condition but is expected to survive.
2020-05-30@1:57pm–#Bridgeport CT– A person has been reported shot in the 100 block of Cottage Street. Police taking officers from the protest to investigate, EMS on the way. Mutual aid police officers from Fairfield, Monroe, and Easton helping with the protest.
UPDATE: All Bridgeport Police officers to report to the police headquarters, state police and Trumbull Police requested to the scene.
2020-05-30@12:43pm–#Bridgeport CT– There was a protest on McLevy Green with about two hundred peaceful protesters. They then marched on Main Street to the police station where they have breached the police station at 300 Congress Street. Additional officers are on the way. Frank Recchia is reporting that they are protesting the death of George Floyd from Minneapolis and will have a full report later today.
2020-05-30@12:00AMish–#Brideport CT– A black 2006 E350 Mercedes was taken at gunpoint by an armed young male at Noble and Boston Avenue. It was last seen near Edna and Noble Avenue.
2020-05-29@1:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police were called to the Islamic Center at 1300 Fairfield Avenue for more than 50 people gathered. All worshipers left when police arrived.
