Bridgeport News: Dirt Bike Crash

POLICE UPDATE: On March 24, 2020 at approximately 5:33 pm Bridgeport Patrol Officers responded to the scene of a serious crash at the intersection of East Main Street and Stillman Street. A 26 year old Bridgeport man, identified as Ricardo Ruiz, was traveling northbound on East Main Street operating a blue and white 2013 Yamaha “enduro” style motorcycle.  As the motorcycle approached the intersection of East Main Street and Stillman Street a Bridgeport man, operating a red 2006 Nissan Altima, was traveling eastbound on Stillman Street.  As the Nissan Altima travelled across East Main Street, the car and motorcycle collided. Bridgeport News: Homicide Suspect Arrested

#Bridgeport CT--This morning, Victor Arroyo (DOB: 1/9/98 of 25 Ashley Street) was arrested and charged with the February 14, 2020 shooting death of Phillip Ingram. The evidence shows that Arroyo became upset with Ingram because he was almost struck by his car as he was walking on East Main Street. Arroyo threw a bin at Ingram's car and brandished a gun. Ingram called 911 and followed Arroyo as he walked away, but before police could arrive, Ingram confronted Arroyo and was shot multiple times. Arroyo is charged with Murder and Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit. He is being held on a $2,000,000 bond. Bridgeport News: Church Fire

2020-03-23@2:09am-- Witnesses told me flames were twenty to thirty feet in the sky in the back of the Apostolic Worship Center located at 540 East Washington Avenue (right across from Washington Park).  Firefighters quickly knocked out the fire and kept the fire away from the worship part of the church. A car and transport vehicle had their windshields smashed and a van had a side window smashed in so arson is suspected. There was no reported injuries.
