Bridgeport Police Update: On January 26, 2019 a shooting incident occurred at the NETTS training school located at Barnum Avenue/ East Main Street. A 28 year old male victim identified as Eric Salters (3/30/90) was shot multiple times and transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance for treatment. Salters was unconscious upon arrival at the hospital and never regained consciousness. On February 4, 2019, detectives were informed by hospital staff that Salters died. An autopsy will likely be performed later this week at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
