2:02pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police came across this coffin on a pick-up truck on Canfield Avenue near King Street. There probably isn't anything illegal but after yesterday's arrest for the Park Cemetery grave desecration, I'm sure they aren't leaving anything to chance!
6:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A fire in a bathroom on the 8th floor of 2600 Park Avenue left a smoke condition in the high rise apartment building.
3:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A silver Volvo tractor-trailer cab was just stolen with keys from 325 Lafayette Street. The cab has a mural of a woman in blue shorts and the doors say A&M Group. #Bridgeport CT--This male is identified as Infinite Seven. This is his legal name. He is a person of interest in the theft of toys on December 1, 2018, from Toys for Tots. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS. (Bridgeport Press Release)
12:40pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT-- There appears to be a five-car crash on Route 8/25 southbound at the exit I-95 split. Traffic is backed up prior to first responders arrival so avoid the area if you can.
11:38am--#Bridgeport CT-- Two "live rounds" of a .38 caliber gun were found in the gym at Tisdale School located on Hollister Avenue. According to radio reports the school was put into "lockdown" but that usually means it was put into "lock-in/out, meaning no one can enter or leave the building as you can see in the photo, two parents are waiting to get in. Multiple patrol cars were dispatched to investigate.
#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a crash that involved five vehicles around 10:15am Sunday morning in front of Washington Park. Police said two cars collided then ran into parked cars on Barnum Avenue. 9:47pm--#Bridgeport CT-- There were no reported injuries in this one car rollover crash on Stratford Avenue across from Bass Pro.
#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a break-in to the portable Pods that were located outside the Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship with other 800 toys stolen. Pastor Eric Torres, Director for the Toys For Tots said the locks were cut from the Pods that were donated by Connecticut Pods. The remainder of the toys were brought inside. Pastor Torres said the toys were scheduled to be distributed on December 15th but that will probably delay the distribution. Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship also gave out hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies at the start of the school year.
