6:37pm–#Trumbull CT– On Main Street near the Merritt on ramps reports of an accident with injuries.

3:40pm–#Trumbull CT– A fight at Macy’s in the Trumbull Westfield Mall at 5065 Main Street sent customers and employees running. There was a report of four males fighting in the walkway between the jewelry and makeup sending merchandise on the counter crashing to the ground. Witnesses told me they thought it was gunfire and hid. One employee called the police for the reports of shots fired and she said she was hiding in a changing room. Bridgeport Police was also called to the scene for back up for shots fired but once it was determined no shots were fired their services were canceled. Fairfield Police K-9 was also called but it was determined that there was nothing for them to track off of so they too were canceled. Multiple witnesses told me that a firearm was displayed which could have fueled the calls of shots fired. There were no were no reported injuries.
UPDATE: The man was on the Bridgeport side and Trumbull Police are detaining the man for Bridgeport. There was no word if the man broke any law at this time.
12:12pm–#Trumbull CT– Police have a man with a gun detained at 2135 Old Town Road. There have been no further updates at this time.

10:27pm–#Trumbull CT– Tonight’s vehicle fire was a car heading northbound on Route 25 and it crashed into the woods near exit 7. The car was fully engulfed upon first responders arrival The driver of the car had fled prior. The car was badly damaged and they anticipate the driver being injured.

3:08pm–#Trumbull CT– Today’s vehicle fire was thought to be a school bus at Beardsley and Round Hill but first responders on the scene report no smoke or fire. The bus was evacuated, expect delays if you child takes this bus. I’m certain they will be sending a rescue bus to finish the route.
