TRUMBULL NEWS: WANTED MAN ARRESTED AT TRUMBULL MALL IN STOLEN CAR

#Trumbull Police arrested a man, that had two (2) outstanding arrest warrants, after he was caught entering a stolen car at the Trumbull Mall Thursday morning, March 9th. Police located the stolen vehicle in the mall parking lot, where Hiram Manuel Medero, age 28, of New Haven, was arrested and charged accordingly. At approximately 9:30 AM, an officer located the stolen 2019 Chevrolet TRX occupied by a female passenger, with the engine running, as it was parked near the food court at the mall. Officers confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Bridgeport Police Department on March 6. #Trumbull CT--A man from Trumbull Avenue, Bridgeport, named Robert Butler, aged 27, was arrested by Trumbull Police on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The police arrested him for pointing a loaded handgun at another driver in the parking lot of Target on Hawley Lane. The incident took place around 3:00 PM and was related to road rage involving a firearm. When the police arrived at 120 Hawley Lane, they met with the complainant who reported that Butler, while driving his vehicle, tried to cut them off in the Target parking lot. JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR STOLEN CAR POSSESSION AT TRUMBULL MALL

Trumbull Police charged two (2) juvenile males after they ran from a stolen car that was parked at the Trumbull Mall, on Monday, February 13. The sixteen (16) year old suspects, both from Bridgeport, were arrested and charged for their involvement in this incident. At approximately 1:00 PM, Trumbullofficers were notified that a stolen 2021 Kia Sportage was driving on mall property. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the New Haven police on February 1st. As the two (2) juvenile suspects were attempting to re-enter the stolen Kia, officers approached them, but both suspects fled the area and ran inside of the mall with Trumbull officers engaged in a foot pursuit. FAMILY DISPUTE LEADS TO TEEN STABBED BY HIS BROTHER AT TRUMBULL MALL On Saturday, February 4, 2023, a dispute between two brothers resulted in a stabbing that left a teenager wounded. Trumbull Police arrested a Bridgeport man after he stabbed his younger brother as both were leaving the Trumbull Mall. Jovanie Hall, age 18, of Glen Circle, Bridgeport, was taken into police custody at his residence a short time after the incident. At approximately 8:00 PM, Hall drove to the Trumbull Mall to pick up his brothers, and as they were walking in the parking lot, Hall began stabbing the sixteen (16) year old victim.
