#Norwalk CT---On December 3, 2021 at approximately 12:08 p.m., Norwalk Police Officers were dispatched to Brien McMahon High School on the report of a student requiring emergency medical attention. Officers on scene determined that more than one student had used a tainted vaping product, and that those students immediately became very ill, requiring medical treatment. The investigation has led to evidence, which is now being examined, and to witnesses, that are working with officers. We intend to quickly bring a successful close to this case. The individuals affected by the product were transported to Norwalk Hospital and are recovering. Hoydick has announced that the requirement for wearing face masks for all staff and visitors to all town buildings and facilities regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status is being reinstituted effective with the start of business on Monday, December 6th, 2021. 2021-12-04@9:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--A thirty-seven year old man was shot in the torso behind the new apartments on West Liberty and West Avenue in Bridgeport around 9:45pm Friday night. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries. Police are looking for a black sedan that sped from the scene.

SOUTHPORT - On Small Business Saturday, Senator Tony Hwang (R-28) toured the Southport village shopping scene which was highlighted by a stop at the Fairfield Women’s Exchange (FWE) on Pequot Avenue.
