Ansonia Homicide-Suicide: New Details Emerge

https://youtu.be/a66phy5dDu4 This morning at approximately 5:00 A.M. the Ansonia Police Department received a 911 call reporting a serious assault in a residence on Westfield Avenue. The first officers on scene found a female and male inside the residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The female was shot multiple times in the torso, she was transported to a local hospital for treatment and unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. The male was shot once in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Milford News: Suspected Bomb in Library

The Milford Library is currently closed off due to a report of a suspected bomb in the Library. State Police are on scene at the current moment to ascertain the threat. There was no bomb threat called in, however, there was a suspicious package that someone called that it may be a bomb. There is no further information at this time and is currently ongoing.

Norwalk News: Shooting with One Wounded

On September 10th at 9:20PM, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received multiple calls regarding several gunshots in the area of Strawberry Hill Ave and Catalpa Street. Officers responded to the area and located a crime scene. At the same time, it was learned that one victim had arrived at Norwalk Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and is in serious condition. Detectives assumed the investigation and were able to determine that this was an isolated incident and there was no ongoing threat to the community. Detectives will be active in the area throughout the day continuing the investigation.
