NEW HAVEN, CT) – This afternoon on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University, Governor Ned Lamont led the first meeting of the Governor’s Workforce Council, a historic group of leaders representing the diversity of stakeholders across the state that are involved in education, training, hiring, and economic development. Bridgeport News: Police Locate Missing Baby

2019-11-20@2:08pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A father was playing with his 21 month old child in the hallway at an apartment building at 1015 Fairfield Avenue.  He turned his back for one second according to radio reports when the child disappeared.  Police located the child in another apartment.  Police confirmed  a caller reported his 21 month year old missing. Bridgeport News: EbLens Robbed Part III

Fairfield News: Narcotics Arrest

The Fairfield Police Quality of Life Unit conducted an undercover operation at the Brickyard Pub located at 93 Post Road regarding the Illegal Sale of Narcotics.   After several months of surveillance and investigation, the case resulted in the arrest of Brandon Parks (DOB: 3/05/1993) of Success Ave. Stratford, CT for the criminal charges of Sale of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Narcotics.   In addition, the owner of the Brickyard Pub, John "Tom" Faulkner (DOB: 11/15/1972) was arrested for the criminal charges of Criminal Attempt to sell Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Narcotics. Westport News: Missing Street Spam By “The Committee”

#Westport, CT – Numerous claims of missing lawn signs have been reported over the past few weeks by local nonprofits.  Some of these signs were displayed on private property or were authorized to be placed on public property. A group calling itself “The Committee” has written to at least one local nonprofit organization stating that if they fail to remove lawn signs, “The Committee” will take down their signs “at first sight.”  The individual or individuals behind “The Committee’ have not identified themselves, however this incident has been officially been reported to police and is under investigation. Washington, DC – U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Chris Murphy (D-CT), joined Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Jack Reed (D-RI), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Ed Markey (D-MA) in sending a letter to ISO New England (ISO-NE) calling on the regional grid operator to pursue changes to the energy markets consistent with the ambitious clean energy goals set by each of the New England states.
