#Stratford CT-- On 9/23/2017, The Stratford Police Department responded to the report of the Fatal Overdose of 27 year old Stratford woman. The Stratford Police Department, along with DEA Bridgeport conducted an investigation into the victim’s death. It was learned that the victim had used Heroin and Fentanyl just prior to her death. The victim’s death was ruled an Overdose by the State Medical Examiner, showing an intoxication of Heroin, Fentanyl, and other substances. Through this investigation, Talvin Hinton age 43 of Bridgeport was identified as the individual who sold the victim the narcotics, just before her death. 2019-10-19@5:44pm-- Four people were rescued in a boat in distress call in Stratford near the mouth of the Housatonic River. First responders worked off the ping of a cellphone to locate the boat. Stratford, Bridgeport and Fairfield worked together in the rescue. They four were brought to the Bridgeport police boat dock. 2019-10-18@2:45pm--- #Bridgeport CT-- Captain Brian Fitzgerald told us in a press conference in front of Bridgeport Police Headquarters that yesterday afternoon police investigated a shots fire incident on Trumbull Avenue. He said he believed it was gang related, that east end gang members shot at north end gang members. At 7;30 at night a K-9 officer located the suspected vehicle on Hollister Avenue near the railroad tracks. The vehicle was a Nissan Altima was stolen out of Ansonia. 2019-10-17@9:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police responded to two shots spotter activation near 1014 Hollister Avenue. Police apprehended two at gunpoint on Hollister Avenue and a foot pursuit on two others. One was apprehended behind the Innovation Center at 955 Connecticut Avenue and another man on Davenport Street who was barefoot. A number of firearms were recovered. The letter details extraordinary misconduct and mismanagement by DCEH, which prevented students from obtaining degrees, and unfairly left them to repay federal student-loan debt from their time attending the failed schools. 2019-10-17@3:00AMish--#Bridgeport CT-- Police were called for a burglary in progress in the 300 block of Orange Street, where the owner of the property said he received an alert from his phone for 3 individuals on his property . When officers arrived there were no suspects on the property but did locate batteries, a catalytic converter, a Sawzall and blades. After canvassing the area, police located one of the suspects, Christian Castro who engaged police in a foot pursuit where he was captured near the BayView Condos. Castro had jumped a fence and cut his hand. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital before his all expense paid trip to 300 Congress Street. He was charged with 3 counts of burglary and…
