Trumbull News: Fatal Crash Victim Identified.

#Trumbull CT--The Trumbull man that died Friday evening following a motor vehicle accident on Daniels Farm Rd., near Heatherfield Dr., has been identified as Eric Gabrielson, age 54, of Oldfield Rd.Trumbull, CT. Gabrielson was driving a Toyota pick-up southerly on Daniels Farm Rd. when itcrossed into the northbound lane and struck the driver’s side of a Volkswagen Jetta that was traveling northerly. The impact caused the Volkswagen to spin around before coming to rest ona nearby residential lawn, and the Toyota eventually came to rest against a nearby residence.The Trumbull Police Traffic officers are continuing the investigation into this accident, assisted by Fairfield Police Department’s Traffic Division. On 12/18/2018, officers responded to a report of an overnight burglary at a residence on Oak Ridge Park. The victim woke to several text messages from the fraud division of her credit card company, which advised her credit card was possibly fraudulently used at three locations in Norwalk charging approximately $170. After checking her home, the victim learned her laptop and purse containing multiple credit cards had been stolen from her family room. Norwalk News: Evading Accident

On May 5, 2019, at 3:18am, officers responded to North Main Street at Marshall Street for a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. Arriving officers located the pedestrian lying in the street and determined that the vehicle had fled the scene. The male pedestrian was transported to Norwalk Hospital by ambulance. The operator of the vehicle later contacted the Norwalk Police Department and is cooperating with the investigation.
