#Trumbull CT– On Tuesday, April 16, Trumbull Police charged a Bridgeport woman for leaving her children unattended in a motor vehicle that was parked at the Hawley Lane Mall. A passerby observed two small children that were left unattended, which led to the arrest of Yonneisha Reed, 29 years old of Bridgeport. Reed’s two children, ages two and four, were left inside of a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander, which was parked in the Hawley Lane mall parking lot.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., a Trumbull officer was flagged down to check on the children, and observed the children in car seats playing on a cell phone. The car door was unlocked, and the officer checked on their welfare at which time Reed arrived stating that she had only been away for five minutes while she was in the store. Reed was advised that children that young could not be left unattended for any length of time. She was charged with two counts of Leaving a Child Under 12 Unattended in a Motor Vehicle and was released on a Promise to Appear in court on April 29th

#Trumbull CT – El martes 16 de abril, la policía de Trumbull acusó a una mujer de Bridgeport por dejar a sus hijos solos en un carro que estaba estacionado en el centro comercial Hawley Lane. Una persona observó a dos niños pequeños que se quedaron solos, y por eso Yonneisha Reed, de 29 años de Bridgeport fue arrestada. Los dos hijos de Reed, de DOS y CUATRO años, fueron dejados dentro de un 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander, que estaba estacionado en el centro comercial Hawley Lane.
Aproximadamente a las 5:40 p.m., un oficial de Trumbull fue señalado para verificar a los niños, y observó a los niños en los asientos del carro y jugaban en un teléfono celular. La puerta del carro estaba abierta, y el oficial comprobó su bienestar en ese momento lluego Reed indicando que sólo había estado ausente cinco minutos mientras estaba en la tienda. Reed se aconsejó que los niños tan jóvenes no podían dejarse desatendidos por cualquier período de tiempo. Se le acusó de dos cargos de dejar a DOS niño menor de 12 años solos en un carro, fue liberado en una promesa de comparecer ante el Tribunal el 29 de abril
