UPDATE: 11:51am-- The car was stopped on Novak Street where the suspect ran into building 6 on Monterey Place where he was taken into custody. 2019-08-06 @ 11:44am---#Norwalk CT-- Norwalk Police were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle off Flax Hill-Scribner Avenue but broke it off near Belden Avenue due to heavy traffic. Bridgeport News: 1 Extricated After Crash
2019-08-05 @ 5:18pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were called to extricate a driver from this crash at East Washington and William Street. One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Westport News: Shoplifters Arrested After Pursuit
UPDATE: three total in custody in connection with that incident; two females and one male including at least one juvenile among those three. Officers are still in the process of identifying them as of this writing, and I am told they aren’t being entirely forthcoming with that information. The total theft of cosmetics was just under $5,000.00, at $4700.00. Police will have a full report for us in the morning. 5:09pm--#Westport CT-- At least two shoplifters are in custody after a pursuit on the Merritt Parkway. The shoplifters stole over $5,000 in cosmetics. They fled Westport into Fairfield. The pursuit was broken off a number of times until Westport Police caught up with them on the Merritt Parkway. I…
Bridgeport News: Injuries After GBT Bus Was Hit
2019-08-25 @4:47pm--#Bridgeport CT--A GBT was hit by a car at the corner of Park and Maplewood Avenue. According to police spokesperson Terron Jones 3-4 people were injured including 2 children. Witnesses told me it was a PT Cruiser that hit the bus and police confirmed the vehicle fled the scene.
Stratford News: Special Needs Bus Involved In Accident
2019-08-05 @ 1:00pm--#Stratford CT-- A special needs bus was involved in a minor accident on Honeyspot an Stratford Avenue. First responders said that protocol says the special needs patients need to be transported to the hospital for evaluation no matter how minor.
