4:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received multiple calls of a dog attacking a man at 127 Polk Street. Witnesses told me that the man allegedly starting arguing with his girlfriend and the dog attacked him to defend her. They said this is not the first time this has happened. Multiple sources told me the dog was shot by police but the dog did walk out on it's own power by a resident of the home. The man was injured and transported to the hospital.
4:57pm--#cttraffic--#Branford CT-- Today's vehicle fire is on I-95 southbound near exit 55. It has also caused a brush fire.
2:45pm--#Bridgeport CT--#cttraffic--Traffic was slow going after the is two-car crash on Route 8/25 southbound near the I-95 on-ramps. There was no word on any injuries. Special thanks to Amy Pacheco for sending in this video.

Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Department of Health and Social Services completed a 9-week “Take the Stairs” Steps Challenge, from November 13, 2017 to January 13, 2018, to encourage residents to incorporate more physical activity in their daily lives. One hundred and sixteen people registered to join the Challenge, together participants took 9,874,860 steps! The Steps Challenge participants selected step goals that ranged from a low activity level to highly active. The majority of participants reported that they met or exceeded their step goals each week. Participants were motivated with incentives in the form of gift cards to neighboring restaurants and tickets to local attractions. 10:49pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport Police were in pursuit of a stolen Maserati on the east side of town. The pursuit was terminated at exit 25 southbound on I-95. Police UPDATE: On 03/26/2018 at approximately 9:49pm an armed robbery occurred at Stratfield Mobil Gas Station 1271 Stratfield Rd. Fairfield, CT. The store clerk reported that a male subject entered the store wearing a hat with a covered face, armed with a knife, and demanded the money from the cash register. After taking the money from the cash register, the suspect left the store and ran south on Stratfield Road. The clerk was not injured during the robbery. The store video surveillance showed a short stocky male, wearing a white head cover, a black T- shirt wrapped around his nose and mouth area.
