Mayor Ganim and the City of Bridgeport Remind Residents of Household Bulk Pickup for its Second Phase

Bridgeport, CT – This year’s Household Bulk Trash Pickup Program has returned for its second phase of the season. This program gives residents the opportunity to discard large items, such as furniture and appliances, that may be difficult to transport to the Transfer Station and are not part of regular weekly trash collection. The program will have different guidelines for removal this year, where residents will be able to discard trash on scheduled date periods specified by the Department of Public Facilities, depending on the district. Scooter Road Rage

2024-06-30@8:29pm--#Fairfield CT-- A middle-aged man wearing a blue polo shirt and riding a gray scooter was involved in a road rage incident. The man reportedly reached into a car and punched the driver on Penfield Road. Police are currently interviewing both individuals involved in the altercation.
