2:07pm--#Fairfield CT--A woman who was walking her dog at Lake Mohegan was attacked and bitten by a a pit bull dog. Dog is no longer threatening but she has a puncture wound. First responders on the way. A man was also attcked by a dog Tuesday night and he shot the dog on Jennings Road.

Bridgeport News: Fire At St. Vincent’s Hospital
12:24am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were called for an activated fire alarm at St. Vincent's Medical Center at 2800 Main Street. They discovered a heavy smoke condition in the basement. The called for additional freighters to the scene to help investigate. They discovered a dryer fire near the loading dock area. As usual the firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. St. Vincent's then started diverting emergency patients to other hospitals.
