Home Invasion in Bridgeport--A tall Hispanic male reportedly barged into an apartment at 140 Fairfield Avenue assaulting the female occupant, tying her up and taping her mouth shortly after 2pm today.   The woman finally freed herself and called police at 5:48pm.  She had to call from a neighbors apartment because the assailant took her phone.  Police are investigating. Fire was quickly extinguished and they have already recalled the alarm of fire at 10:34. Malloy today announced that he has appointed Fairfield First Selectman Kenneth Flatto as Executive Director of the Division of Special Revenue.
