#Bridgeport CT-- On August 27, 2021 at approximately 11:10 am, Task Force Officers fromBridgeport PD received speedy information about Dionte Jones DOB 7/22/1999who is well known to the Task Force. Task Force Officers had prior informationthat Jones had access to several firearms and was currently in possession of a tansemi-auto with extended magazine. Jones is a convicted felon and has no legalright to possess a firearm or ammunition. Task Force Officers quickly learned thatJones was seated in a vehicle at 500 Park Avenue near Roots Man. UPDATE: Bridgeport fireboat reporting the call is off Charles Island. 2021-08-29@12:45pm--I have two water rescue calls come over the radio. I'm not sure if they are one in the same. First call came in as two boats collide two miles from Charles Island and another for 3 people in the water with a vessel taking two and a half miles east of the Stratford Point. Bridgeport News: Car Hits Pumps At Gas Station
2021-08-28@8:14pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A car appeared to have hit a car at the corner of Park and North Avenue and proceed into the gas station hitting a canopy stanchion, side wide a pump hitting the pump barrier and losing a wheel before coming to a stop after hitting the fence towards the back of the building. There did not appear to be any injuries.

Bridgeport Police UPDATE: On August 28, 2021, at approximately 12:31 p.m. Bridgeport Police responded to the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue on the report of a motor vehicle accident with shots fired and a party down .The operator and sole occupant of a red Honda CR-V had been shot and involved in a motor vehicle accident. The victim, identified as 21-year-old Jamel Hayden of Bridgeport Ct, was quickly transported to St Vincent’s where he later died .The Detective Bureau Homicide and Identification Units have responded and taken charge of the investigation. Fairfield Firefighters Rescue Dog From Cliff
2021-08-27@10:10pm--#Fairfield CT-- Firefighters just finished up an accident with no injuries on Black Rock Turnpike when a call came in from the Reda family that their dog was stuck on a cliff above the commuter parking lot at 3087 Black Rock Turnpike. Assistant Fire Chief Roger Caisse told me the dog was up a sheer cliff about 75 feet up and the dog had no where else to go. They were able to utilize their new tower ladder through the trees to access the dog. The firefighters used a make shift harness to get him down. Caisse said he was glad the dog was the dog’s owners called because they would have been in a very dangerous situation. He said…
