3:22pm--#Fairfield CT--Fairfield first responders responding to Lake Mohegan at the cascades near the electrical towers for a hiker having a seizure. Hiker is ok, response is challenging due to wooded area.
Bomb Squad Called To Bridgeport Power Plant
8:47pm--#Bridgeport CT--About two minutes after the second suspect was captured by police in Massachusetts fire and police were dispatched to the power plant in Bridgeport Connecticut. Reports indicated and an unattended package and the access to and from the ferry terminal were closed to traffic. The location of the package was two blocks down at Atlantic and Russell Street. Assistant Fire Chief Ivan Fossesigurani told us that a relatively new looking briefcase was placed on the railroad tracks, it was partially filled with sand and it was intentionally place on the tracks.
