UPDATE: Bridgeport Police Department Investigates Non-Fatal Shooting Incident

#Bridgeport, Conn. (October 28, 2015) -- Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is reporting that a second victim was wounded as part of a shooting that took place last night on Washington Ave. near the corner of Highland Ave.   The second victim, a 27 year-old male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle. Stratford News: Industrial Fire

10:10pm--#Stratford CT-- Firefighters were dispatched to 125 Ontario Street for an industrial fire in a dryer room according to radio reports. A Google search says this is Cray Valley Inc. which deals with plastics and popolymers according to their website. Firefighters arrived and found heavy fire on the roof and had it quickly knocked down and spent only about a half hour extinguishing the bulk of the fire. Four workers were evacuated and checked by EMS. Firefighters have called the Hazmat Team in for decontamination. They also called in the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection and the fire marshal to investigate. A recall was sounded around 11:30pm. There are no reported injuries.

Bridgeport News: Man Shot Outside Greene Homes

7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was shot outside Greene Homes in front of Junco's  by a couple of males who fled on foot towards Greene Homes.  The victim fled the gunman and ran towards Washington Avenue where he collapsed in front of Happy House Restaurant.  He was transported to the hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.   It's always first on DoingItLocal, delivered fresh to your phone, not hours or days later!
