2:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- #Stratford CT--Police from both Bridgeport and Stratford were chasing the same suspects in the Barnum/Hollister/Soundview area for a Grand Cherokee with a possible stolen ATM machine (redundant since the M in ATM stands for machine). Since I monitor multiple police radios at the same time I knew they were working on the same call and called both departments that I thought they are working the same call. 4:10pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a shootout at Stratford and Central Avenue near the Optimus Healthcare and library.  Radio reports say one person shot in the stomach on the way to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle.  Shell casings have been located by the library.  A gray Nissan Altima was seen fleeing the scene. Stratford News: House Fire

12:25pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters extinguished a fire at 229 Plymouth Street.  The fire started in the basement and extended to other part of the house.  Firefighters required  three hoses to get the fire under control.  The occupants had evacuated the building prior to firefighter's arrival. Bridgeport News: 1 Person Shot

1:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--One person was shot OUTSIDE Big Daddy's Deli on 2498 East Main Street. The area is closed to traffic while police investigate.  The person shot was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, code two which means it is NOT life threatening.  I don't know what part of the body the person was shot at this time.   Police are looking for a gray  Nissan Murano with heavy tinted windows, it fled north on Noble Avenue.  As always, it's first on DoingItLocal.com, so as soon as I get more information I'll let you know!
