His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Bridgeport News: Sexual Assault On A Minor

On February 22, 2018, Orane Cole, DOB 11/25/1975, of 3412 Main Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut, was arrested on a warrant.   The arrest warrant charged Cole with Aggravated Sexual Assault in the First Degree 53a-70a, Threatening in the First Degree 53a-61aa and Unlawful Restraint in the First Degree 53a-95, stemming from an extensive investigation involving Cole sexually assaulted a young girl from the age of six to the present time. This investigation involves another Connecticut police agency and two others in the state of New York. Cole's bond was initially court set at $250,000.00 and was raised to $500,000.00 during his arraignment.

Westport Fire Warns Of Upcoming Storm

Strong Costal Storm Forecasted to Impact Area this Friday March 2nd 2018 A Costal Flood Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for our area for Friday Morning to Saturday Evening. Minor to moderate flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around 1.5 to 3 feet of inundation above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Trumbull News: Police Arrest Man On Stolen Firearm Charges

Police served an arrest warrant on a 20-year-old Trumbull resident after locating a stolen firearm in his home during a search. Christopher Ronnow of Doe Hollow Road in Trumbull was arrested after an investigation determined that he was found to be in possession of a handgun which was reported stolen. The gun was located while detectives were serving a search warrant at Ronnow’s home for an unrelated incident that occurred earlier in Trumbull. After locating the gun, Trumbull Detectives obtained assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms. Fairfield News: College Student Threatens Ludlowe Students

On 02/27/2018 at 9:17 the Fairfield Police Department received a report of harassing phone messages through social media among several individuals who attend Fairfield Ludlowe High School, and the suspect who attends Southern Connecticut State University. The report was that of an argumentative conversation over the social media application “Snapchat” where Nicholas Graham (DOB: 10/16/1994) of Southport, made threats that he would find them and kill them, and all of their friends. This social media post led to several reports through 911 from parents who observed the posted comments. Bridgeport News: 5 Shot On Stratford Avenue

UPDATE: Police spokesperson said it was four people shot, all with non-life-threatening injuries. 9:50pm--#Bridgeport CT--Around 10pm Tuesday night police received a call of shots fired at Stratford and Central Avenue. When they arrived they found two people shot at the Sunshine Deli, both with non-life threatening injuries. A short time later police received a call for a person who arrived at St. Vincent's Hospital shot in the stomach. He arrived in a private vehicle. Bridgeport News: Homicide At Sunnyside Inn

UPDATE: Police have identified the victim of homicide #4 has been identified as Alfanso Anderson age 49, of  639 Ezra Street, Bridgeport.   Police Update:   Last night, at 2330 hours, officers responded to a call of shots fired in room #12 of the Sunny Side Inn, at 145 Lake St. When they arrived, they found a middle-aged black male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
