His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. Bridgeport, CT—On December 10, 2020, Bridgeport Police detectives executed a searchwarrant at Blackrock Animal Hospital located at 2877 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport. Detectiveswere searching for evidence related to the recent death of a 10-week-old puppy that wasadmitted to the animal hospital to have a procedure to crop its ears. When the owners came topick up their dog the next day, Amr Wasfi, the veterinarian who treated the dog, informed theowners that the dog had died. A subsequent investigation determined that the dog died ofoverheating due to Wasfi leaving the dog on a heating pad for an extended period. CITY OF BRIDGEPORT ANNOUNCES FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE CLOSED FOR ON-SITE / IN-PERSON INSPECTIONS

The City of Bridgeport advises that the Fire Marshal’s Office located at 45 Lyon Terrace is closed today. City officials have been notified of employees in the Fire Marshal’s Office that are exhibiting signs of COVID-19 and have subsequently referred to be tested.   Due to the closure onsite inspections will be postponed while available Fire Marshals that were not impacted will work remotely on “life safety” issues. Fairfield News: Bank Larceny Arrest Made

2020-12-10@2:42pm--Chase Bank at 1401 Post Road contacted Fairfield Police to report a male in their branch making several suspicious withdrawals from an account. An investigation revealed that Igor Injomar Corporan (24 yo) of the Bronx attempted to make 4 withdrawals on the same day from a Chase Bank Account that did not belong to him. A $9,500.00 withdrawal was made by Corporan at the Bridgeport Chase Bank on 12/10/20. He then went to the Fairfield Chase Branch and withdrew $8,500.00, followed by an attempted withdrawal of $5,500.00, 45 minutes later at that same Fairfield Branch. Fire Department UPDATE: At approx. 10:17 PM, The Stratford Fire Dept. was dispatched to 2037 BroadbridgeAve for a reported structure fire with 4 adults, 3 children, 1 dog and 2 cats insidethe home. All occupants were able to evacuate the home safely. Engine 1, 2, 3, 4,Tac5, Truck 1, responded with a total of 22 Firefighters, One shift Commander, andtwo safety officers. On arrival, heavy fire was pushing out the upstairs bedroomwindow. The fire was under control in approximately 20 minutes with no reportedinjuries to the occupants or fire personnel.
