#Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport Police were contacted by a school official Thursday 1/2/20 at approximately 7:00 am regarding a principal who was notified by a student, about a threatening post that allegedly was sent to several students via Snapchat. The threat posted on social media (Snapchat) was directed at several city schools. Upon reviewing the information Bridgeport Police SRO's, specifically Officer Rondell Jones and Officer Thiago Reaes conducted a swift and extensive investigation under the direction of Sgt. Marlon Campo, with assistance from Sgt. Angelo Collazo. The investigation spanned over two days, resulting in a juvenile being identified as a potential suspect on Friday 1/3/2020. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Victim reports he was warming up his car when an individual made entry and left with the vehicle. Ansonia Police UPDATE: On January 1, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Bridgeport Police Department contacted the Ansonia Police Department regarding a possible sighting of Vanessa Morales at Bridgeport Hospital. Ansonia Detectives responded to Bridgeport Hospital and reviewed surveillance video that showed a female child, which resembled Vanessa Morales with several other people. Detectives were able to identify and make contact with the people in the video. The child in the video was not Vanessa Morales. The Ansonia Police Department continues to investigate the homicide of Christine Holloway and disappearance of Vanessa Holloway. On January 1, 2020 at approximately 3:56 pm Bridgeport Patrol Officers responded to the scene of a serious crash at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Ellsworth Street. This was a two car motor vehicle crash involving a 50 year old Bridgeport man operating a red 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van and a 50 year old Bridgeport man operating a green 2006 Honda CRV. The red Chrysler van was traveling westbound on Fairfield Avenue, at a high rate of speed, when it crossed the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Ellsworth Street striking the green Honda CRV.
