UPDATE: The victim is conscious and said he was shot at William and Shelton Street.  He did not see the shooter as he was shot from behind. 2019-03-28 @ 1:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A gunshot victim just arrived at Bridgeport Hospital. Stratford News: Gun Charges After Pursuit

Eris Hall age 22 of Bridgeport was arrested on 03-26-2019 after he led an officer on a car chase. The incident started at approximately 9:36pm on Stratford Avenue near Honeyspot Road and ended on Bruce Avenue. Hall refused to stop for officers and during his attempt to flee he threw a firearm out of the window of the vehicle. Hall had unloaded and dismantled the weapon prior to discarding it. The weapon, ammunition and high capacity magazine were recovered by investigating officers. Hall was charged with; Carrying A Pistol Without A Permit,  Weapon In A Motor Vehicle, Illegal Possession Of A High Capacity Magazine, Tampering With Evidence Reckless Driving,  Engaging Police In Pursuit,  Operating A Motor Vehicle Without A License…

Bridgeport 10 Year Master Plan Available For Review

Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport’s Planning Department has completed a draft of “Plan Bridgeport,” the city’s ten-year master plan for conservation and development.  The Plan Bridgeport project kicked off in June 2018 with four months of community outreach that included over 1,600 members of the Bridgeport community.  After another four months of aggregating all community and stakeholder feedback a written draft of the Plan has been submitted for approval to the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission. Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Health Department is offering a free training course to become a Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Health Department is offering a free training course to become a Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO).
