Stratford News: Car Thefts By Teens

Stratford Police Officers apprehended three juveniles in a stolen car. The juveniles, ages 14, 14 and 15 were the subject of an investigation into recent thefts of and from motor vehicles in the north end of Stratford. Two of the juveniles attend Bunnell High School and one attends the Boy’s and Girl’s Village in Milford. The car was stolen from a residence in Stratford on 02-04-2020. Cash Is King In Making Tax Payment In Stratford

#Stratford CT - The Office of the Tax Collector would like to remind Stratford residents that the second installment of property, motor vehicle and sewer tax bills is due by February 3, 2020. Stratford Library Children’s Department Closed

The Stratford Library announces that its Children’s Department, currently closed and undergoing major renovation through early April, is open for business in its temporary location in the Library’s Lovell Room. The Lovell Room is located on the Library’s Main Level. According to Library Director Sheri Szymanski, Children’s Department materials and programs will be available in smaller capacities while the renovation takes place. The renovation is the first major redesign since the Children’s Department opened in 1981. State of the art technology resources, flexible programming space for both traditional and STEAM activities, an  ADA compliant restroom and nursing station are all included in the new renovation. Shakespeare Property Subcommittee
