Norwalk News: Apparently There Is $20K In Jewels At Kohl’s And Police Need Your Help

#Norwalk CT--On January 27, 2020 at around 9:00 am a male entered Kohl’s Department Store on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk and smashed a display case, he then stole approximately $20,000 in jewelry. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle with New York Plates. This investigation was assumed by the Detective Bureau and is being investigated by Detective Fitzmaurice. Surveillance photos of the suspect are attached to this release. Anyone who recognizes the individuals pictured or has information regarding this crime is asked to contact Detective Dan Fitzmaurice. 2019-01-14@11:26ham--#Bridgeport CT--  This morning (January 14, 2020) the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received numerous calls on several shots fired in the 600th block of Beechmont Ave in the area of Tesiny Ave. Once the police arrived to the scene, they came upon a person who had a non-life threatening hand injury caused by bullets shattering a business’s window. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Bridgeport Police Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS.

Fairfield News: Eye Doctor Makes Spectacle Of Charges

#Fairfield CT--On 01/11/2020 Ian Gorovoy (DOB: 03/10/84) of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with four counts of Sexual Assault Third Degree and four counts of Risk of Injury to a Child after he allegedly had unwanted sexual contact with an adult female victim in the presence of a child. Gorovoy turned himself in at Police Headquarters on 01/11/2020 where he was processed and released on a no-contact protective order after posting a $150,000 court set bond. He is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on 01/13/2020 and the judge set bond at $150,000.
