#Ansonia CT--On March 29, 2023, the Ansonia Police Department and DEA New Haven Task Force with the assistance of the New Haven Police Department Criminal Intelligence Unit & Shooting Task Force and Connecticut State Police Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant on Howard Avenue in Ansonia. The warrant was the result of a joint investigation into the distribution of narcotics. During the service of the warrant, a large number of drugs and cash were recovered and the target of the investigation was arrested. Seized during the warrant were 448 grams of cocaine, 186 grams of crack, 10 grams of Fentanyl, and $100,000.00 in cash. Incarcerated Man arrested for Violating Protective Order

#Shelton CT-- On 03/28/2023 the Shelton Police Department arrested 27-year Gordon Cole of Shelton.Cole was charged with one count of Violation of a Protective Order and remainedincarcerated on an additional $10,000 bond.Cole was previously arrested in Shelton on 12/29/2022 for several Domestic Violencecharges including 7 counts of violation of a protective order. After the December arrest,Cole was incarcerated and the court issued a Protective Order stating that he is to have nocontact with the victim in the original arrest.During Cole’s incarceration, the Department of Correction alerted Law Enforcement thatthey suspected Cole of having phone conversations with the victim from the originalarrest. Oxford Death Investigation Results in Cruelty to Persons Arrest

On Wednesday, 02/01/2023, at approximately 10:52 AM, Detectives from the Western District Major Crime Squad served an arrest warrant for James Mosley, (DOB 03/08/1950) in the City of Bridgeport. The arrest warrant was applied for and granted as the result of a suspicious death investigation initiated on 06/04/2022, in the Town of Oxford. Detectives made contact with Mosley, who was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop G in Bridgeport, where he was processed and charged with the following: C.G.S. 53a-155, Tampering With Physical Evidence C.G.S. 53-20(a)(1), Intentional Cruelty to Persons Mosley was unable to post a $25,000.00 court set bond and was transported to the Bridgeport Correctional Center (BCC), pending his scheduled arraignment at Derby Superior Court.

Shelton News: 2nd Burglary Arrest Made- Still No Kitty

#Shelton CT--On 2-1-23, Shelton Police arrested 24-year-old Toni Douglas-Alves of Bridgeport and charged her with Burglary 3rd Degree, Larceny 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to commit Burglary 3rd Degree and Conspiracy to commit Larceny 3rd Degree. Douglas-Alves was released on a $10,000 bond and given a court date of February 22, 2023, at Derby Court. This was the 2 nd arrest in this case. The arrest stems from a burglary complaint at a hotel room on 1-22-23. Several items were reported stolen including the victim’s hairless cat Princess. Police obtained and executed a search warrant during this investigation. Items were seized by police, but the cat was not located. Police are still trying to locate the cat.
