Westport News: Unwanted Visitor
#Westport CT--On 12/21/2018 at approximately 11:30 pm, officers were dispatched to a Westport residence on a report of an unwanted party. The suspect, identified as Lucas Vanderkamp, left the residence prior to police arrival. Officers learned Vanderkamp had entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked side door, without permission or announcing himself, before sitting in the living room. Vanderkamp left the home when asked to do so. The victim reported they had not spoken to Vanderkamp in three years but had previously made it clear to him he was not welcome on the property. An arrest warrant application was submitted for Vanderkamp and later approved. On 01/21/2019, the Greenwich Police Department notified Westport Police Headquarters Vanderkamp was in their custody…
