1:44am--#Bridgeport CT--Police were called to the Gentlemen's Club at 980 Railroad Avenue for a shooting inside the club.  No one was hit or injured.   As I arrived on scene dozens of people were seen exiting the club. Many of the witnesses told me that they heard shots inside the club when the fled.  Apparently no one was hit, EMS was not even called to the scene.  I tried to confirm the club's name but found nothing for 980 Railroad Avenue online.  People were seen exiting a side door on Wordin Avenue. Governor Lifts Ban On State Funded Travel To Indiana

#HARTFORD, CT – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that, following the passage of an amended religious freedom recognition act, he would lift the ban on state-funded travel between Connecticut and Indiana. The adjusted legislation now provides protections to LGBTQ individuals, and as such, falls outside the scope of the Executive Order issued earlier this week. Governor Malloy said, “Today I am today lifting to ban on state funded travel to Indiana, because I believe the change enacted by the Indiana legislature sufficiently clarifies, in our interpretation, that the law cannot be used to invite discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. “Unlike Connecticut – which has been a national leader in LGBTQ protections – this is…

1ish--#Bridgeport CT--Burglars were busy tonight.  First call came in about a break in at the yacht club on Brewster Street.  There was not many updates on this call.   A second call about the same time came in for a break in at the meat market at 827 North Avenue.  Police found a broken window, witness saw someone go in but not come out.  The person with a key called to the scene was able to show police security camera footage on his iPhone.  Milford Police sent their K-9 and found the building empty but security cameras gave a description of the suspect.  Police are looking for a white male with glasses, black face mask, black jacket gray shirt and…
