Fairfield CT-- On Monday afternoon at 12:23 PM the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting that a tree worker had fallen from a tree at 188 Rock Major Road. Upon arrival, the Fire Department found the worker on the ground in the rear of the house. He had fallen over 40 feet. Under the Command of Assistant Chief Schuyler Sherwood, fire personnel immediately began treating the patient who was conscious and responsive. He did not appear to have life threatening injuries. The worker stated he had an issue with his climbing spikes that caused him to fall. Newly appointed Deputy Chief Kyran Dunn was on scene and assisted with incident coordination and control. Police say a person went to the private residence to purchase marijuana but disputed the price. The man returned with a gun and the shooting occurred.
