Westport News: Mom Arrested Leaving Child In Car

Police were called to the parking lot of Whole Foods, 399 Post Road West, on a report of an infant left unattended in a vehicle. Arrested on $1,000 bond was Milan Kunajukr of Westport.  Upon arrival the officers found the vehicle unlocked and running with the infant inside. Kunajukr exited the store and returned to her vehicle a short time after police arrival. Based on the facts and circumstances she was place under arrest and transported to police headquarters. Arrangements were made to have the father take custody of the infant who was evaluated by EMS before leaving the area. The weather at the time of the incident was approximately 84 degrees, however the interior of the vehicle was cool as the air conditioning was on. DCF…

Bridgeport News: 2 Shot

2:25am--Police received a call of a person or persons shot outside the Chinese restaurant at Stratford and Bunnell Streets.  Just prior to police's arrival the received a call from Bridgeport Hospital that they had two gunshot victims arrive.  Police have a crime scene established at Stratford and Central Avenue.  The shots came from a small white or silver car with three people inside.  They fled south on Central Avenue after the shooting.  This information has not been confirmed by any police representatives. I was not prevented in hearing or reporting on this call in any way. Bridgeport News: Report Of A Naked Man Injured

UPDATE: Police spokesman called and said police are trying to sort the scene out.  They believe he may have been injured by the broken glass.  Residents of Charles Street are commenting that it was a naked man who had a chunk of glass sticking out of his arm. 12:37am--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was shot in the 200 block of Charles Street.  Witnesses told me the victim was put into a black Pontiac Grand Prix and taken to nearby St. Vincent's Hospital.  Radio reports said police found a large amount of blood on the sidewalk.  No shell casings have been recovered.  Police are trying to confirm if it was a shooting.  A large amount of broken glass was seen near the…
