Fairfield Selectmen Honor Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients

First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that the Fairfield Board of Selectmen issued proclamations to Caroline and Isabella Carrano who earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest and most prestigious award that a girl can earn in Girl Scouting. This award is given out to less than 6% of all girl scouts. The Gold Award requires at least 80 hours researching issues, assessing community needs and resources, building a team, and making a sustainable impact in the community. After completing prerequisites, each girl must plan, implement and lead a unique project that addresses a community issue and improves lives. Bridgeport News: Street Robbery

11:48pm--#Bridgeport CT--  A man was robbed at Colorado and North Avenue by  two people.  The first was a white female with green eyes and slender built wearing pajamas.  The other was a Hispanic male wearing a black jacket and jeans.  No mention of his build or eye color.  The victim said they had some sort of weapon but could not see what it was.  I guess he was looking at other things.....   This report is made possible by:

Access Health Has Strong Enrollment In The State

#Hartford, CT – Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, Chair of the Board of Access Health CT (AHCT), and AHCT CEO Jim Wadleigh today announced that 116,019 consumers purchased healthcare coverage through Access Health CT during the 2016 Open Enrollment Period.  This represents the strongest enrollment period the state has seen since the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.   “This is good news for Connecticut,” said Lt.
