Bridgeport News: Rollover At The Police Station

1:40am--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Bridgeport's wild night continues this time with a rollover at the police station.  A road rage incident that began on the highway ended in the detective bureau's parking lot with one car hitting a yellow protective pole and taking out the identification card reader flipping the SUV over.  The other vehicle parked in a parking spot with the detective cars.  I guess they will also be visiting the booking department after a trip to the hospital.

Bridgeport News: 2 Shot In Bridgeport

UPDATE:UPDATE: I spoke with detectives and they said both victims will make it. It didn't look good at first. One man was shot in the back and the other was shot in his....booty...   11:01pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Two people have been shot in possibly two separate incidents in two different locations in town.    The first incident took place in the 1300 block of Park Avenue not far from Harral Avenue.  The person was shot in the back and is in very serious condition.  A short time later Bridgeport Hospital called police that they had a gunshot victim show up in a private vehicle.  It is unknown where in town this incident took place.

Trumbull News: Children Injured In Golf Cart Incident

#Trumbull Connecticut--Five children received minor injuries after a golf cart they were riding rolled backwards.  The children were on the back of the cart when the wheels lifted up causing the cart to lose control.   The incident happened at Madison Middle School at a AYSO soccer tournament.  The cart was being driven by an adult tournament official.  Some of the children were thrown from the cart, some were run over but none of the injuries were serious.   This report is made possible by:

Bridgeport News: Serious Crash On Bishop Avenue…..Again

2:54pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Just before 3pm Saturday afternoon firefighters were called to rescue two people trapped in this one car crash on Bishop Avenue near Connecticut Avenue. Witnesses told me the driver appeared to have lost control before sideswiping a white pickup truck. The car stopped after hitting this a utility pole leaving him in grave condition. There has been no word on the driver's condition, the passenger was moving and able to talk but also had serious injuries.   Bishop Avenue has been the scene of a couple of serious crashes in the last couple of months.
